PROJECTS

Rescues & Runways Benefit Fashion Show for Roseburg maurices, September 2009

• Organized and led successful fund-raising donation drive and fashion showas part of maurices’ nationwide Rescues & Runways initiative.
• Partnered with three local animal welfare agencies and raised $126 and 250 pounds of food and supplies.
• Secured in-kind donations for event, including DJ service and auction baskets items.
• Wrote press release that resulted in newspaper coverage.

2009 PRSSA Bateman Case Study Competition, Lock Up Your Future campaign. January 2009 – March 2009

• Helped organize, coordinate and implement college awareness campaign,featuring interactive event at UO for nearly 300 eighth-graders.
• Coordinated event publicity and earned lead story television coverage.
• Wrote news article of event for the Springfield Times.
